Affiliates

BLC rents space to the affiliates listed below, who have their own separate professional practices. BLC affiliates work in collaboration with BLC as consultants and, in appropriate cases, as part of a multidisciplinary team.

C. Christopher Alberti, Esq. - Taconic Alliance, LLC

Don Greenstein, Esq. - DLG Conflict Management Services

Richard N. Wolman, Ph.D. - PsychoMatrix

Affiliate Changes – Since 2003, Boston Law Collaborative, LLC has devoted its efforts to promoting the use of both Collaborative Practice and multi-disciplinary practice (“MDP”). When we started, both of these were in their infancy in Massachusetts. BLC has been fortunate in having as its Affiliates several exceptional professionals in the areas of financial planning, psychology, and employment matters. Due to the growing use of both Collaborative Law and MDP in divorce cases, we have found that one of our Affiliates, Susan Miller of Aurora Financial Advisors, LLC, and BLC are frequently called by members of the same family in a divorce case. Obviously this does not present a problem when the same person calls both of us. But if one party in a divorce calls Susan and the other calls BLC for advice, we have to decline one of the parties. We would like to avoid this problem in the future, and so Aurora and BLC (with a fond look back at seven years of enjoyable and productive affiliation) will no longer be affiliates in any formal sense starting on May 1. We remain, like other members of the Collaborative Practice community and the mediation community, allies in the broader sense of being dedicated to helping clients resolve conflict. You will still be able to contact Susan via her website www.AuroraFA.com, and we welcome your comments, questions, and opportunities for collaboration.
