January 31 - May 8, 2013 – BLC member David Hoffman will be teaching the Mediation course at Harvard Law School for the 6th consecutive year. David is the John H. Watson, Jr. Lecturer on Law at HLS.

June 3-7, 2013 – BLC member David Hoffman will be on faculty of a five-day "Mediating Disputes" training at Harvard Law School, under the auspices of the Program on Negotiation. The other faculty members are Prof. Robert Mnookin (Harvard Law School), Dr. Kimberlyn Leary (Harvard Medical School), and Samuel Dinnar (Mediation Works, Inc.).

July 14-18, 2013 – The following BLC personnel and Affiliates will be teaching in the four-day Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Family Mediation Training:  Israela Brill-Cass, Rachel Goldman, David Hoffman, Vicki Shemin, Katherine Triantafillou and Dr. Richard Wolman.

September 2013 – BLC member David Hoffman and mediator Daniel Bowling will be the featured speakers at a conference in Bucharest, Romania, entitled, "Bringing Peace into the Room," which is the title of the book that Daniel and David published in 2003 with Jossey-Bass. The conference celebrates the translation of the book into Romanian.

October 9, 2013 – The International Bar Association Mediation Committee will be holding its annual meeting in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and BLC's David Hoffman will be delivering a speech on "The Role of the Mediator as Moral Witness." For more information about the Committee, click here.
