Education: Boston College, AB cum laude (history and political science), 1976; Bentley College, MS Taxation, 1982; Suffolk University Law School, JD cum laude, 1988.

Work Experience: The New Law Center, LLC (2002-2003); Friedman & Atherton LLP (1996-2002); Private Practice (1989-1996); various corporations in tax and financial positions (1977-1989).

Olive Larson practices family law at Boston Law Collaborative, LLC. With an M.S. (taxation), and experience in the business world, she concentrates on high-income and high-asset cases involving financially complex marital estates that have included, among other things, multi-generational trusts, inherited and gifted property, and complex jurisdictional issues. Olive also handles complex custody, paternity, de facto parenting, and other child-related cases, as well as prenuptial agreements and post-divorce matters. A member of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council, Olive was previously with the firm of Friedman & Atherton and The New Law Center, LLC. 

Representative Cases:

  • Represents individuals in family law matters both in and out of court, including, when necessary, in trial, post-trial, and other court-related proceedings.
  • Serves as Collaborative Law counsel for individuals seeking amicable divorces.
  • Represents individuals in pre- and post-nuptial matters, including drafting prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
  • Represents individuals in abuse-prevention proceedings.
  • Works with individuals, families, and other professionals including psychologists, guardians ad litem, parenting coordinators, financial planners, appraisers, business consultants, and the like in the resolution of complex family law matters.
